Quelles Paroles latest self titled effort smacks of classic 80's electronic music, but it isn't just another album banking of the styles of there forefathers to drop a few hits. Quelles Paroles does enough experimenting with synths and keyboards that they elevate their music to more than just another 80's rip off. Allowing them to keep a certain amount of edge to the music while still maintaining the sweet 80's sound. It isn't just the music that helps but this album above many others, lyrically this album is about as solid as they come. Everlasting is a stunning track whose lyrics are as sweet as they are mournful. It makes me want to be their girlfriend at least lol. The same can be said for Deep, a thankful and dark track that makes you want to curl up with the band and do naughty things under the moonlight.
