At long last something good has come from Wisconsin that doesn't involve beer, football, cheese or serial killers. Orwell delivers a heavy blend of old skool Death Metal with pit friendly stoner metal on their debut album, Endeavors. In their short existence, Orwell has shared the stage with Obituary, Napalm Death, Intronaut and a shit load of others all before releasing their first album. Orwell is also one of the bands participating in Metal Insider's "No Labels Needed" contest. The winner will have the chance to record an album with Machine, Lamb of God and Every Time I Die. The good folks at the Earsplit Compound have been nice enough to stream Orwell's Endeavors in its entirety for free at http://www.earsplitcompound.com/site/?p=179. So check out the album and vote for Orwell at http://www.metalinsider.net/nolabelneeded/.
