The Coronation of the Locust Queen

The Greatest Fear

The Coronation of the Locust Queen

4

There is nothing better than a singer who can scream and growls as well as they sing. Itâ??s even cooler when that voice is attached to a woman. In Jane Saunders The Greatest Fear has one of the most impressive voices out there right now. Powerful and sultry with an aggressive edge, Jane leaves you wondering, â??Where have you been all of my life?â? as her amazingly limber vocals carry you through waves of dark melodic sounds. More than just a great voice The Greatest Fear is just an all out awesome band that churns out some incredible music featuring some great arrangements to match the screaming guitars and killer drum work. Although The Coronation of the Locust Queen is their debut disc, itâ??s obvious that this band isnâ??t afraid to experiment with their sound adding flutes and synths to their lush sound. Youâ??ll know what I mean when you give tracks like Las Conversaciones Con El Diablo, The Suicide Table or Opus Dei a listen. These are just a few of the tracks that will get you moving and like me make you a fan of The Greatest Fear. If this disc is any indication, we have one hell of a ride to look forward to in the future! Kudos all youâ??ve done a great job on this one.
